| I had knee replacement surgery 10 days ago. Went into surgery about 8am was sent to recovery about 9:30. Was in my room before noon.
About 1:30 they walked me down the hall. Had PT on Tuesday morning and sent home before noon.
About 2:30 AM Wednesday morning the spinal block wore off. Holy sh-t did it hurt. I took 2 hydrocodone pills every 6 HR for pain. On Saturday I cut back to 1 hydrocodone every 6 hr.
Been staying in my recliner since surgery. Every time I would get up I would walk about 200 ft. I have an ice machine that circulates cold water through a pad on my knee. Have a VenaGo on each leg to prevent blood clots.
I had PT on Monday and yesterday, also had bandage removed.
Yesterday I switched to 2 arthritis acetaminophen every 8 hr.seems to keep the pain controlled with out the narcotics
