The airboat tour at the Miccosukee Reservation is the best airboat ride we've been on. It is an actual tour that will take you North, and further into the Everglades than the other rides rather than just spinning circles. And if nothing is going on at the tribes fishing camp, you can get off and tour the camp. The fishing camp is pretty neat.

If you're into history, go a few miles South of Everglade City to the Smallwood Store in Chokoloskee. It doesn't look like much, but it truly is a time capsule, and you'll learn a lot about the history of the Everglades if you take the time. Everglades City has a County owned museum as well.
