South Central MN | We had a fantastic experience in Jamaica despite a medical emergency. The cab driver that took us to the hospital stayed with us for several hours to make sure we were taken care of, and left us his card so we could call him for a pickup when we were released the next day. The cab driver from the airport to the resort was also great. He flat out said that they all work on their hospitality because they need the tourist $$ and want us to come back.
The DR hasn't seemed to reach that same conclusion yet. They want your money, but make it clear that they don't want you there as well. I'd go almost anywhere but the DR at this point. | |
