| Lost the tip between the back of the nail and my 1st knuckle. Wasn't enough skin to cover the stump so they trimmed the bone back some and sewed in a patch of some fake material over the end. Met with the surgeon couple days ago for follow up and removed bandage and saw the result for the 1st time. Not pretty. the patch material looked like raw fake meat. Supposedly it will turn into skin at some point. My accident was stupid also. So far feels like a strong clothes pin clamped to my finger most of the time. | |
