We would light a couple old pine stumps on fire, throw an old piece of roofing tin or whatever flat metal available, on top, had a sack of oysters bought at the dock, throw em on the hot tin, when they started to open up, crack em open, slap on some butter, slurp down, have a cracker or two, and swig some beer. Repeat. Some of the best times ever. Definitely not classy, only a one course meal, not counting the crackers and butter. | |
