Subject: How to preserve Dog treats, my Granddaughters FFA project

East central IL
My Granddaughter is trying to start a Dog Treat business as part of her FFA projects. She is getting a lot of interest so far during the “Research phase”, it appears she needs to come up with better preservation. At this time she is baking and using a dehydrator not sure how to go about this as some the treats are not storing as well as others.
So far she has used several different ingredients to come up with a very diverse offering including peanut butter, oatmeal, Carib chips, apple sauce and other items.
I thought this maybe a place to find ideas for preservation so she can be successful by having satisfied customers.
