N FLA | I have in mind to make some gift baskets. Of course I'd like to do it with local stuff, but I can't do a $15 bag of pecans at one place, a $12 jar of jelly at another, etc etc. I mean I just can't handle $60 or $80 for a few items in a basket that might not be appreciated or consumed. We don't particularly produce basket friendly items, nobody wants dry peanuts, corn silage and cow manure. And it's out of season for those anyway.
Does anybody put anything together that seems like a good combination, but that might not be "local," and is still affordable for multiple baskets? About 10 baskets probably.
Just wondering what kind of items I might get that don't have a "boutique" price tag. | |
