| Hey Scott, nobody said anything about 90mph or 800 HP. There's no such thing as sit back and listen to the pipes sing if you're on a road that has any grades to pull with a 2 cycle Detroit. My idea of enjoying the journey isn't constantly grabbing for gears. An 8v92 is the only Detroit I'd even consider in a truck, and that would be towards the bottom of the list. For a 91 379, the old B motor would be first choice hands down and nothing sounds like the low growl of the CAT, or like the guy below said, a 12.7 Detroit would be a good choice
