Surely it can be done. One of the sharpest trucks I ever saw was in line at Central Soya years ago. It was on old Pete, don't know the year, late 60s I would guess. It had a brand new 3412 CAT under the air powered tilt hood. With the hood closed it looked like a normal, old, but sharp truck.
