northeast ohio | That’s interesting news. We’ve purchased three VRS Direct unlocks for TMX/XCN 2050 displays from CNHi and Trimble Authorized dealers. Just looked at a Trimble Vantage dealer website and the part number clearly indicates 2050’s. I am also around several other 2050’s and GFX750’s that run VRS Direct on ODOT CORS and they function well. This said, I know of one farm in that experienced enough issues with it running on Verizon cellular that they went back to a modem.
The OP could ask for a trial unlock to test the functionality.
