Saginaw Bay Area - Michigan | I have been using programmable Honeywell units for quite a few years. Have 4 daily schedules (sleep, wake, leave, return). Not expensive, not difficult to set up. No computers or big brother listening in.
Studies have shown it to be a mixed bag on if they are actually money saving devices. Depends on how far you drop the temp and how much work the system needs to do to bring the temp back up (or cool back down for AC).
For many, better insulation will save more $. |
