Depends on the amount involved and where i/we are making the transaction. Most of the time I don't worry too much. A couple years ago my son bought a used vehicle out of state in a rural area. It was only $2500 but we took the truck , trailer and a loaded pistol. Everything went smoothly, but there are just too many stories of things wrong.
