| Probably should have went with confectioners sugar.
I tried regular sugar with a little condensed milk to have something to boil the sugar in.
I started heating and stirring and could see I was going to have to add something to keep from burning my sugar.
I ended up just putting the soft fudge in and heating it to a boil. Unfortunately my timer didn't work so I guessed at the time. Actually my arms just wouldn't stir it anymore.
It turned out chewy and just slightly gritty. I think it is good, my wife not so much. | |
