Subject: Thiamine or vitamin B1

Pittsburg, Kansas
For those of you on the nerdy side and like to listen to long technical presentations, here is one on thiamine deficiency. He claims our modern world of nutrient deficient high carbohydrate highly processed foods could be causing a deficiency.

I put this here figuring few would want to devote a little over an hour of time for something so technical. I am only able to do a couple dives a day any more due to old age and only modest energy levels. Although that said, I have been spending nearly three hours under water in those two dives daily, so not exactly slcackin off for a 68 year old guy.

Anyway, if interested, watch. If not, skip. If you just want to get to the punch line go to about the one hour mark or for some summary the 50 minute mark.

A little rain this morning in paradise.
