East Central SD | The post below got me thinking about posting this.
I am amazed how many people enjoy and want to eat out at a sit down restaurant. Very seldom is there anything I enjoy about it. Very little chance the food will be as good as it should be to justify the prices, but more importantly I absolutely hate how long it takes to order, eat, and get out of there. We have to wait to order, then wait for our food, and waiting for a check is the nail in the coffin for me. I leave a good tip even though very seldom is the service good enough to justify a tip let alone a good tip. I would rather hop up and get my own refill on water or whatever rather than wait an extra 5 or 10 min for the staff to come back and help me ( and that's a big assumption they even come back at all). I am blessed that we always are able to eat well at home and understand that not everyone is that fortunate.
Anyway, just curious how many others feel the same way I do? | |
