WCIN | I’ve brined at least 2-20+ lb turkeys at thanksgiving probably the last 10 yrs or so.
Tried different ways but settled on 5 gal buckets, get a new one every year wash it out, add brine, turkey and ice, in garage fridge with shelves removed, Tuesday Am out and washed off on Wednesday Am. Rinsed off right in the bucket then on a stand to drain, in the bucket.
when I’m done it’s a new feed bucket. 24 lb turkey fits in a 5 gal bucket fine. | |
