Yep. Great versatility. Add sugar and makes pudding. Add tomato juice and make tomato soup. Add cheese and broccoli for a soup. Use drippings and makes a thick gravy. Add cooked potatoes and herbs for a good potato soup. And others I can't think of. A great French mother sauce.
