sw ontario | A lot of moving parts with a lease. The past few yrs. those leasing have been able to return & release with no mileage penalties, ect. as truck values just run up .If/when sales slows/mfg. catches up dealers may not be forgiving on lease returns.
Leasing is just another 'finance' program
If u drive low miles, its for getting groceries and soccer it probably works.
Using a lease for a farm truck u better be ready to buy it out at the end.
Problem I see is once you get into a lease for anything , the first lease is cheap with trade in ,next you pay full value and if u want to buy u have no trade in so u have to have cash.
On trucks , Ram still has employee discount, Ford SD pay full list price
On tractors/combines some that were leased 5 yrs. ago with a low buy out before big price spike might offer some good buy values. | |
