West Central IL

MGfarms12 - 11/23/2022 16:28 Bbi magnaspresd here. Lime is 60 ft and gypsum is 55 ft. Yes we have gotten out and checked. It is nice to get out and measure because then you know. I say gypsum is 55 ft but the is 2 ton per acre believe it or not only one ton per acre is 52 ft. Night and day difference. Twin disks running 550rpm Same spreader spreads fert at 80

Have the same spreader in red.  I spread 60 foot also.  80 foot everything else.  Easy to check as it comes with all the pans and such to check the spread pattern.  To me it seems these spreaders lift the material more as it comes off the spinners than others I have run in the past that just seem to throw it directly out the sides.  I guess that's how they get their distance.  On the 2nd year with this one.
