Subject: RE: Getting started with precision ag

NW Ohio
We are just getting our start into precision ag and as others have said find someone local who can help with setup and the right products. Being in my 20's I am very tech literate, however I think getting into autosteer and precision requires some previous knowledge and experience. We decided to go with AgLeader because we want to be able to expand and grow which the InCommand 1200 allows. This year we are going with InCommand 1200, Steady steer and planter monitoring in a 4240 so 40 year old equipment. Hoping to get our feet wet and also resolve having to use different monitors on corn and bean planter. We are a small operation right now but if this can improve productivity and prevent some annoying issues we ran into this year it will be well worth it.

I believe after this initial system I will have no problem buying used items and setting up our tillage tractor with similar equipment.
