If you're just starting out with this stuff, you will need help figuring out what you need. And once that's done, you'll need help installing it and setting it up. After that, you'll probably run into a few issues once you start using it. This was my first year using autosteer and my dealer was a huge help to me. I doubt if he would have been quite so willing to help if I'd bought everything used online instead of through him.

Now that the big ticket stuff is out of the way, I wouldn't be opposed to buying used components to add to what I have, but that's not how I'd start off.

Also, this stuff is nice, it is handy, and you'll be able to get more done faster with it. It should save you more money than it costs. But as far as being a gamechanger on the profitability of your farm? It's not quite that critical, IMO.
