I want to buy one of these. One of my concerns is that JD releases new software on the display side and either intentionally or unintentionally makes the AgraGPS product quit working. Can anyone speak to this?
Don't think that will happen. I think the Leica MojoRTK still will emulate a JD globe and be recognized as such 10 or more years later. If JD actually did create a new software that intentionally disallowed the AgraGPS globe, how long do you think it would take for them to update their software to allow it to work again? Once people are proficient at programming for CAN, I doubt that creating a new handshake would be insurmountable.
