| My experience is with Deere Starfire receivers, but the fundamentals are the same.
Years ago, I upgraded three receivers to RTK, but soon wished I had stuck with SF3. For the expense of the unlocks, purchasing modems, annual cost of the data plan and the headaches of dealing with low signal areas and modems that just decide to not work when someone else is in the machine, I wished I just kept using SF3 at $850 6 months and didn't spend the upgrade money. | |
