im not really sure what the map represents in terms of distance. it will work but the further away you get from the base the less accurate it will be. i wouldn't want to be 30 km from a base ever but i wouldn't pay for terrastar either. if iowa cors is free why not try it and then if it is terrible get a digifarm login and use the modem and data plan you already have? just an idea.
