Western-Central Lower Michigan | Ive always used Google Drive, the first "whole bunch" of data is free. Ive not ever needed to buy more storage.
Also if you use google sheets, its entered online and you can log in from any computer to work on your "spreadsheets".
A external drive backup is better than nothing, but if you have a fire or water damage in the office, there goes the back up.
