Yes, time for a change.

I still have an old laptop running Windows 7. I never go online with it -- and wouldn't dream of doing online banking with such an outdated machine. So far, I have resisted upgrading to Windows 11. Early releases kept crippling business software with one pushed upgrade, then fixing it with another, only to reveal more bugs. I do think it is better now and might be on my next machine. But Win 10 will be supported for a few more years, so I am in no hurry.

But running any business with a 15-year-old computer is asking for trouble. Do not go online with a Win 7 computer -- and do not trust it for online banking. Yes, I'm sure someone is still using Windows XP for banking and irreplaceable business records -- but that's just plain nuts.
