I thought we were going higher, that's what you've been saying for three weeks.
We are higher in most of the grains then 3 weeks ago
Look at corn, wheat, beans, kc, mpls, cbot wheat charts…..all of them have us higher then 3 weeks ago
Also just because one thinks we are going higher…….doesn’t mean we will always be right……and when we say our bias is for higher prices that doesn’t mean that one shouldn’t use risk management appropriate for your farm’s operation with it’s unique risk reward profile
We have never said that on X date we will be X amount higher…….
We truly believe that there is far more upside then downside; but we also know that we can be wrong…………..
Having said all of that I will stick to my prediction that corn, cbot wheat, and soybeans see new all time highs by the end of 2023.
Keep in mind that our market rally really started when COVID hit and it was truly a demand driven rally. Now we have moved over to supply issues; but we haven’t fix or shut down demand enough in my opinion……
Plus we have farmers with more holding power then ever before
Inflation is real; but it isn’t from the farmer getting more for the grain they raise……
Take a look at virtually any grain one grows……how much has the farmer got of the “inflation”
