Central Texas | I made a few preliminary attempts at it yesterday when we first took things apart. I tried hitting the outer end with a chisel, tried driving the inner end down with a large punch, and it didn't budge. I've used chisels before with so-so results. Sometimes the chisel wants to cut the end of the key off and then it's an even bigger headache. I sprayed some penetrating oil on it and plan to let it sit a day or so more. I'm not a fan of woodruff keys. | |
