Floyd County, Iowa | Yes. Wife's dad poured the cattle feeding floor about 60 years ago. It was all mixed with a small mixer on the back of a tractor. Had the 3 kids (wife was the youngest of three, and 5 years old at the time) put hand prints and names in the concrete. It's still there today, but hard to see/read after all those cattle walking on it and weather wearing it down.
Another concrete floor in a building has paw prints from the family dog the walked on it while it was still green.
Every piece of concrete I've poured gets at least a date scratched into it. Just because. | |
