My dad taught us to do that. Do it on all of the projects I have with the date. I just recently moved back into the “home” farm where I grew up. Pretty neat seeing all of our names in concrete all around the place. I just tore down a grain bin that dad put up in 1965. I rented a saw and cut out the writing. Hoping to reuse it some day as a cornerstone on another project.
