sleepy hollow , wi | some burners mostly old style keep the igniters running all the time . the newer ones will shut them off at a certain point installing a new style board for instance a gsi smart board or a sukup becomes money very well spent , ive swapped some Chicagos over . takes some time and bringing it in the shop to retrofit spark plug holder and flame probe bracket but since the switch and other pieces are getting difficult to find for a heater that hasn't been built since about 1975 . other choice is a new more efficient unit ,mod vlv or a hi lo .
