so i get tilling shallower/ less to preserve water.
someone mentioned crop residue,. meaning tilling deeper the more residue? would this be done mostly to adequately incorporate the residue?
I'm just thinking of other ideas for varying tillage....
IDC, WM, rougher finish for erosion control, etc.?!
Thinking about it more, we do it manually for erosion control on hilltops and ancient glacial lake, literal beach sand.
Can one till or not till their way out of IDC or WM? Interesting question. |
