| Full disclosure: I sell the Best and Bextras along with a couple of ring style feeders: I sell the most of the Best Feeders and I think will outlast just about anything on the market that I have seen link: https://www.bestlivestockequipment.com/haysaver. The Bextras also work well the red ones are made of galvalume steel, but ends of the tubes are pinched where they weld them and they are about $100 higher then the black ones which are black iron and the ends of the tubes are coped instead of pinched, mostly 16 gauge tubing, not sure about the small tubes on the top, Tarter is now building them for Bextra, There are also now green ones out there that have Tarter's name on them, but according to my distributor they are only 18 gauge-buyer beware!
Edit: Biggest complaint I have heard about the Best tire feeders is that they are hard to get the net wrap off when putting the bales in, same as any of the ones that suspend the bale in the feeder I would think.
