Iowa | I got a new SSD computer 5 years ago when my old computer running XP gave me the blue screen. The old computer always took a minute (or at least it seemed like a full minute) to boot up whatever I wanted to run. My SSD computer would boot up most of what I wanted to run in the blink of an eye or just a couple seconds. It still does five years later. Most of what I do would be considered light use, no gaming or the like. My SSD computer was not even a high end computer at the time. I don't doubt the newer computers today are much faster, but probably would not make a lot of difference for what I am doing. | |
