Went to a quicky walk in place for wax in my ears. $99 flat rate for self pay. I paid them, then got a bill for $63. Seems they messed up in the billing department and tried to bill my non existent insurance. Extrapolating on that data, it seems to me that 40% of the cost of health care is the administrative headache of insurance paperwork.
