Add water at the chopper if needed to fight gum. We won't blow alfalfa in the silo without a water hose hooked up to the silage blower.
yes water at silo is a must especially with our fieldline blower. this was first time in 6 or 7 years the harvester got gummed. trouble was it got gummed last cut and then hardened up.
