MB | We're the 3rd (at least) owner of a '98 4700 with over 6000 hours. We've had it for 7 years and farm about 1000 acres, so we usually end up spraying 2-3000 acres per year with it. It's been an extremely good sprayer for us. Other than regular maintenance we've had to do very little work on it. One airbag, a belt tensioner, a cab fan, two wheel seals, a boom fold sensor, and a few hydraulic and solution hoses are all that come to mind for actual breakdowns. Parts are still readily available. It's slower on the road, noisier in the cab, and less refined than the newer machines, but for our farm it's just right. I've been very happy with it. | |
