Southeast Virginia | I bought a new Ford Fusion in 2016 and spent over a thousand dollars total for 2 rounds of mice chewing through various wires the first year I had it. I started spraying Rodent Defense on all the exposed wiring in the engine compartment at every oil change which is monthly for me. Haven't had any more damage in the last 5 years. So that works for me.
For my tractor, combine and truck cabs, I use Mouse Magic packets. Two per cab about every 3 weeks. Kinda expensive but not compared to downtime and expense if I didn't use it. I tried the stuff they sell at Tractor Supply. Mice mess right on top of one those after 10 days or so told me they weren't as good as MM. | |
