Southeast WI | We were told a dozen years ago or so we had to live within our budget just like a household does. Not fixing roads is like not fixing your home roof and just let it leak. How's that go long term? We are still crawling out of that hole here in Wisconsin. However with bipartisan support more money has been put to road repairs and it shows. I drive 35000 miles a year for work. The miniscule amount extra I pay to repair the roads won't even cover one repair on our trucks or farm machinery hitting huge divots in the road or broken up pavement. What do you think closing all kinds of rural bridges in MN costs drivers every year going out of their way to conduct business? | |
