S.E. Iowa | Please accept my condolences. My dad chisel plowed the fall before he died. It was on ground I farmed for 30 years. It was in the industrial park. Over the winter construction started on a new can factory. In the southwest corner of it there is still chisel ridges they've never leveled off. I used to mow the curbs adjoining the fields I farmed. The land was close enough I would just drive the lawnmower there and I went thru the factory part as a shortcut. It was never rough to drive over because I always thought of him. | |
