I’d be trading a fixed hitch 2210. Saleman claim couple of the bigger farms that trade often have had the floating hitch and have went back to the fixed style hitch.
They say the floating hitch does not transfer the weight to tractor in soft/wet ground and that the main frame wheels just sink into mud? And with fixed style hitch it transfers weight better and can lift it slightly and can get closer to wet areas.
I’ve never had floating hitch so not sure what too think. Price is substantially higher for the floating hitch. This would be on a 50’ digger with 3 bar harrow and rolling baskets.
