Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA | Our fire pit area is 21’ diameter with a short rock wall around probably about 110 degrees of the circle. I tried to choose and arrange the rocks so that they’d have flat surfaces facing up, so people could sit on them, set things on them, or walk up and down easier. There’s easily enough space for a couple families, last night there were 7 adults and 11 kids and I was glad I didn’t just make it an 18’ ring. One time we had about 40 people gathered around it.
