Macdon is boasting a 20% increase in capacity, with the new FD2 series. I can get a 35ft in my shop door, on the combine. I can't get a 40 ft in. That was my decision in ordering a new one. I can get a new 35, with 20% increase capacity, do the same as an old 40ft, and get it in my shop. And use the same trailer. It all depends on your situation, and what you need.
