Subject: RE: For those who have had chemo treatments

Thumb of Michigan
I might be going against the grain here, but with my FIL the chemo they gave him had little to no effect. As a matter of fact, he bragged about others that had chemo and had bad side effects, must be sissy. Which I would correct him to no avail. So, if it is a light enough treatment (no or little side effects), he could try one or two treatments to find out.

This is how it was explained to me about differences in treatments. Radiation is used when there is something to aim at, chemo if there isn't and/or they feel it's spread or could spread. Along with how aggressive the type of cancer it is. YMMV
