Grease or Copper base Anti-seize?
I am building a small overhead lift in my shop, 500# max, mainly to pick up, and place, light weight but bulky stuff. Mounting a 1/4" plate across 2 ceiling joists - they are 2x12's, and will put a spanner across 2 more above (4 total).
It will be a single point mount , a schd 80 tube 14" long (the bearing), gusseted to the 1/4" plate, with a 1 1/2" soild bar attached to a 2" heavy wall square tube 6' long, a piece of unistrut and 3 trollies to move the load, and pivot around the hub if needed.
the majority will be up in the ceiling and not real readily accessible to lube, not that it will need much, just don't want the lube to dry out and get stiff.
