Casey IL. ( I -70 ) then south on rt.49 | it took me almost 12 hr. Yesterday to get a coon out of the lower auger on a New Halland feed mixer ( 355 )
It was a huge bore coon. Very gross so no picture. Had to take auger a part from both ends , cutting the chain sprocket and bearing off. Literally jerking the auger out with the gator. Just a steady pull it would spin out. So I drove forward and put in reverse to jerk on the auger. Part of that time was spent running after parts. Got it to gether and ground feed today, everything went will. Now I'm going to park it in the shop.
Coon went down through the dust collector.
By the way my neighbor and wife was helping also. |
