Eastern NE KS | I take mine to JD dealer. Happened just once on Mato lacings since 2001 and 40,000 bales (but 2 different balers, 567 then 569).
My old 535 had clipper lacings. Ripped one of them at least once a year.
Mato or Alligator lacings are much better than Clipper. Clipper look like neatly placed, light hog rings. I'm hoping your issue is with clipper for that is easily fixed with an upgrade.
