But if they want the money back, don’t they have to return the product they bought? I suppose a judge can hand down any kind of ruling he wants to….

But……. If a judge makes you return the money your were paid for goods that were delivered, that sound like theft to me.


Banks did that to some on sales in '80's....guy sells cattle, bank refuses payment & bank claims ownership of new buyers cattle as buyer was in default


They tried that here 5 years ago. Guy bought cattle at the sale barn never pays for them. Files for bankruptcy, bank loads up the cattle and hauls them back to the same sale barn. Sale barn owner moves them out at 2 am claiming they are his cattle because he was never paid for them.

I’m with the barn owner on this deal. Guy never owned the cattle for the bank to have a mortgage against.

Local media reported that the barn owner stole the cattle but forgets the rest of the story.
