| Do you know what final stand counts were? This year we only dropped about 2 pounds per acre or a bit more, which should give us 100 plus yield potential if other factors line up. (This was planted, not drilled) But I agree that stand does look thin. A previous poster mentioned midge. That will really rob yield, from my experience. The heads have a little the same look as if the birds ate the kernels out, although the damage is usually more in the middle of the head. | |
