Malta, Illinois | This is very typical of the market for this time of year. The last week of June and into the 4th of July is pretty much when grain markets take a breather and move lower. I tend to agree that things are a little overdone even with the levels we were at. I don't think much if any of the market action as of late has really been about the weather. After the 4th is when a weather market usually gains traction if you are going to have one. Forecasts over the weekend and coming into next week should have a pretty big impact on markets going forward. | |
